SAFETY BARRIERS

When a door is open at a loading dock without a truck present, some type of a barrier should be in place to prevent a forklift from possibly falling off the edge.  McGuire offers an option to have a barrier installed on the leveler lip, or as a bar that is lowered in front of the dock door opening.

Barrier Lip Leveler

McGuire’s Barrier Lip Leveler prevents lift trucks from driving off the edge of the dock in both the stored cross traffic and below dock end loading position. When in use in the back of a trailer the Barrier Lip offers a smooth transition between the platform and lip.
